"Tend to your own garden: savor the blossoms, trim the weeds." ~ Ron Kaufman
My first garden was lovely!….but it sure didn’t start that way and in truth, it was a LOT of work! Sometimes it was an overgrown mess, but all my fruits and failures taught me so much! So many of those lessons have stuck with me, and now, more than ever, I think we can all use a little hope and inspiration to keep growing ourselves.
Each season has so much to teach us about how we approach our daily efforts to grow through the many challenges life throws at us. You deserve to thrive, not just survive.
Growth, after all, is a beautiful thing!
This year, it is MY GOAL to create and grow a place to be inspired and a community of people – who share the desire to take good care of themselves, others, and our delicate world. Maybe we will make some mistakes (Messes are ok! Don’t worry, we will be fine!) and learn some things along the way, but mostly we will #justkeepgrowing!
Each month I will be digging in (I know! So corny, but I couldn’t help it) to a different season and sharing more lessons, resources created just for you, and some inspiration!
So…Here We Grow!
Subscribe to the newsletter and each month you'll get an update, resources, and inspiration to keep you growing!

Before its time to plant your first tender seedling, you have to get a clear vision of what YOU want! Don’t try to grow perfect peonies or bountiful zucchini like your neighbor if that’s not truly your thing. Choose what YOU want and learn to do that well.
Be an expert in the juiciest strawberries, the tallest sunflowers or the plumpest tomatoes. Whatever you are going to grow, just makes sure it makes you shine!
The lesson: Your goals must be something that are unique, exciting and challenging in ways that are just-right-for you.

Ripe and Ready!
That moment when you finally get to delight in the rewards, it’s so sweet! Sometimes it takes awhile, but it is the season to savor and enjoy your harvest.
We all love a summer dinner from the garden, a fresh bouquet of flowers and aromatic herbs. Unfortunately with our goals, we check it off the list, move on, and forget to be look at all the hard work, mistakes and learning along the way.
Even when we achieve our peak, we still need to grow. It’s the time to be grateful, celebrate, and preserve the best for the next time.
Rest, Reset, & Return
Putting the garden to bed for the winter used to make me sad. The dying of a glorious crop seemed to be an ending, a time when nothing was growing.
But oh my friend, it is NOT! It’s a time to pause, take stock, and plan for your next big dream. Don’t miss the chance to pause and reflect on how you have grown!
Time to start collecting seeds for another goal. Like a garden goes through seasons, your growth, too, is a beautiful circle. So rest when you need to, shift if you must, just don’t stop growing.
Come back often, for the inspiration, tools and resources. Good things are growing here!
